Even if we have finished the unit, and we're going to start with the past continuous, we will be still using the past simple, so here you have some exercises to practise:
exercise 1: put the words in order and the verb in the right form
exercise 2: same as exercise 1
exercise 3: make questions
They are online exercises so you can check the answers once you finish. Don't forget we need the auxiliar DID for the questions.. ;)
further practice: practise with some verbs, sentences, listen to the pronunciation of the different verbs, listen to a dictation...
Biography: Need some help with the oral presentation?? here you have another model:
1. Look at the pictures and put them in order.
2. Complete the biography with the appropriate verb in the correct form.
3. Check if you did it right.
4. You can use it to help you with your biography.
Remember you don't have to make complicate sentences, your classmates have to be able to understand you and you cannot read during the presentation so it will be harder to remember everything! We will have the computer available, so you can prepare a powerpoint with pictures of your famous person.
